Tirupati, 16 March 2016: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao stressed that the TTD-run Balaji Institute of Surgery Rehabilitation and Research for the Disabled (BIRRD) should become the best of its kind in the entire state of Andhra Pradesh soon.
Reviewing with the hospital authorities and other engineering and financial officers of TTD over the going developmental works taken at a cost of Rs.25cr in the hospital, in the conference hall in BIRRD on Wedneday he instructed the engineering wing to complete all the maintenance works by May 15.
The EO also instructed the SE I Sri M Ramesh Reddy and SE Electricals Sri Venkateswarulu to complete the construction of all the new Operation Theatres and electrical works respectively by June 30.
Adding further he said, "By that time the vacancies, additional staff recruitment process should also be completed. The hospital should offer the best of its services in the entire state from July onwards. The hospital has to create its impact. The opreations should go up from 350 to 500 per month", EO directed the Diector Dr G Jagadeesh.
Chief Engineer Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Additional Facao Sri Balaji, Dyeo Services Sri Vijayasaradhi, other officers were also present.
Earlier the EO inspected the ongoing construction works in the hospital.
