Minister for Industries,Textiles, Handlooms,& Sugar

Minister for Industries  Shri jupally Krishna Rao  today  issued approvals to Industries who have applied under the TS-iPASS   .   This is the 6^th phase  under which permissions are being issued.

18 Industries have been issued with approvals the biggest among them is Cognizant Tech Services Pvt Ltd. with an Investment of 655 crores and would create an employment  around 8500 personnel. ITC, Sify, HSIL, Winsol, Chemo India, Atlas copco, Surana, Earth solar  are some of the  other industries.  These are coming up in Medak, Ranga Reddy, Mahboobnagar, karimnagar, and Khammam districts.  The total investment are to a tune of 2167.47 Crores and will create employment opportunities of about 13817.

The Total investments so far  under the TS iPASS is 33101 crores and the employment generated is 1,20,169

The approved companies include Software Development, Solar, Pharmaceuticals, Pastic Pipes, Granites and Seed Processing units.
