Tirumala, 26 Mar. 16: With the advent of summer vacation rush coupled by week end rush in Tirumala, the JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju personally inspected the queue lines of Foot path which extended upto Narayanagiri Gardens, Rs.300 as well the Sarva Darshan queue lines in the hill town on Saturday.
Braving the scorching temperatures, the pilgrims stranded in the queues for their turn to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara.
Jeo directed the officials of Annaprasadam and Health to provide food, butter milk and water to the pilgrims waiting in serpentine queue lines which extended upto three kilometres outside at regular intervals.
Later he also visited the Vaikuntha Queue Complexes and interacted with the pilgrims. He directed the officials concerned to see that the pilgrims are not put to any sort of inconvenience and supply of food and milk should take place on time.
Meanwhile it is taking around 15 hours to Sarva Darshan pilgrims and 10 hours to Divya Darshanam pilgrims. The rush is expected to increase further after tenth class examinations and EAMCET.
DyEOs Sri C Ramana, Sri S Venugopal were also present during the inspection.
