TUMBURU TEERTHA MUKKOTI WITNESSES HUGE PILGRIM TURNOUT

Tirumala, 23 March 2016: One of the most important teerthas of Tirumala, Tumburu Teertha witnessed huge influx of devotees on Wednesday

, in connection with the annual mukkoti festival which was observed on the auspicious Phalguna Pournami day.

TTD has made elaborate arrangements of Annaprasadam, water and butter milk packets in the entire route extending 9km from Tirumala temple in the interior of seshachalam ranges.

The vigilance in co-ordination with the police and forest departments has also made security arrangements keeping in view the safety of the pilgrims.

TTD Trust Board member Sri G Bhanuprakash Reddy and other officials also took part in this celestial fete.
