Harikrishna To Play Cameo Role In ‘Janatha Garage’

Young Tiger NT Rama Rao's upcoming film 'Janatha Garage' directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, CV Mohan on the banner of Mythri Movie Makers is progressing on a brisk pace. It may be mentioned here that NTR is romancing with Samantha and Nitya Menon in this movie and the film has talented artistes like Malayalam super star Mohanlal and Unnikrishnan Mukundan in key roles. In fact, the film-makers planned to rope in Nandamuri Harikrishna in the role presently played by Mohanlal. However, Harikrishna refused the offer citing health problems. But, the film is determined to rope him in a role and the Koratala Siva made certain changes in the script and incorporated a cameo role in the movie. As the shooting with that role doesn't take much long, the producers pleaded with NTR to convince his father to accept that role. Hope the latter will accept to do that role. Devisri Prasad is scoring tunes for the flick. The film unit is presently in Mumbai shooting some flashback scenes and it is likely to return to Hyderabad very soon to finish the other important scenes in the Hyderabad schedule. The movie is slated for release in theatres on August 12.
