Tirumala, 14 May 2016: TTD Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao and Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju on Saturday inspected the foot path and sarva darshan queue lines in Tirumala owing to heavy pilgrim rush witnessed in the hill town.
The TTD Trust board chief Dr Ch Krishnamurthy inspected the food, water, buttermilk distribution in the queue lines and interacted with the pilgrims about the amenities. The pilgrims also expressed their satisfaction over the services offered by TTD.
While the TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Saturday personally inspected the lines inside the Tirumala shrine. The EO also closely monitored the movement of the lines inside the temple to see that the pilgrims are not put to long waiting hours.
On the other hand, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju inspected the queue lines in the Narayanagiri Gardens. Speaking to media he said, it is taking about 10 hours for Sarva Darshanam and five hours for Divya Darshanam. "After the completion of aged and physically challenged pilgrims darshan slot in the evening, the lines will move at a faster pace. Since the exam results are out across various states in the country, the pilgrim rush has increased. But with the elaborate arrangements made by TTD, we will ensure a speedy darshan to pilgrims", he added.
Chief Security Officer Sri Ravinder Reddy, Spl Gr DyEO Annaprasadam Smt Chenchulakshmi, Temple DyEO Sri Kodanda Rama Rao, SE II Sri Ramachandra Reddy, Health Officer Dr Sermista were also present.
