IKEA India CEO met the Principal Secretary Industries

IKEA India CEO Juvencio Maeztu today met the Principal Secretary Industries Arvind Kumar today  and briefed him about the progress achieved so far by IKEA in setting up their unit in Hyderabad.   It may be recalled that IKEA will open its first store in India in Hyderabad in early 2017.      Mr. Arvind Kumar said that the government would extend all cooperation to Swedish furniture major IKEA to expedite their business plans in Telangana. Further permissions relating to blasting permit, tree felling permission and extension of electricity lines were agreed upon in the meeting. Mr Maeztu said that a new project manager would be joining IKEA from the first week of June and he would be responsible for IKEA operations in Hyderabad. 

Commissioner of Industries Mr Manick Raj, Managing Director HWSSB Mr Lokesh Kumar, CMD TSSPDCL Mr Raghuma Reddy, and other officials attended the meeting.
