ON SECOND DAY OF PARINAYOTSAVAM LORD ARRIVES ON ASWA

Tirumala, 16 May 2016: On the second day of the three day annual padmavathi parinayotsavams, the lord Malayappaswamy reached the finely decked mandapam on Aswa Vahanam accompanied by his two consorts on separate Tiruchis.

The celestial wedding took place with religious grandeur amidst the chanting of vedic hymns by the vedic pundits who rendered Rig, Krishna yajur, Sukla yajur, Sama and Adharwana vedas. Later the instruments including Dhamarukams, Nadaswaram, Melams followed the hymns. Afterwards, the Annamacharya artistes rendered Annamaiah keertans.

Tens of thousands of devotees converged the tastefully decorated Narayanagiri gardens on Monday evening to witness the unjal seva of the deities.

TTD has cancelled arjitha sevas including Arjitha brahmotsavam, Vasanthotsavam, Sahasradeepalankara sevas owning to this festival.

TTD Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy, EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao, Temple DyEO Sri Rama Rao, Peishkar Sri R Selvam, Garden Suptd Sri Srinivas, Health Officer Dr Sharmistha, VGO Sri Raveendar Reddy and large number of devotees took part.
