In connection with the Millennium Birth Anniversary Celebrations of the great Sri Vaishnava Saint Sri Ramanujacharya, the Ramanuja Sanchara Ratham mulled by the temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams which will cover all the 106 Sri Vaishnava Divya Desams present across the country, will reach Karnataka on May 15 and Kerala on May 17.
IN KARNATAKA FROM MAY 15-17
The Sanchara Ratham will cover Bengaluru, Melkote, Mysore, Nanjanagudu, Gundlupetai, in Karnataka before it night halts at Nilambur in Kerala on May 17. In Karnataka the Srinivasa Kalyanam will be performed at Mysore on May 16.
IN KERALA FROM MAY 17-22
While in Kerala, the Sanchara Ratham will proceed from Nilambur to Pattambi of Palakkadu District on May 18 and cover Sri Uyyavantha Perumal Temple in Tiruvithuvakkodu near Thrissur in the morning at 8:30am. Later it proceeds to Sri Naavaay Mugundha Perumal Temple near Kuttipuram. Srinivasa Kalyanam will be performed in Kuttipuram from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
Later on May 19 the Ratham reaches Guruvayur by 7:30am and proceeds to Trissur. From Trissur the procession reaches Sri Moozikkalathaan Perumal near Cochin International Airport by 10:30am. Later in the noon by 1:30pm the procession moves ahead to reach Sri Kaatkarai Appa Perumal Temple. The celestial Kalyanam is performed in the evening in Tirukkakara.
On May 20, the Ratham will proceed to Kocin and reach Alapuzzha by 11am . The Kshetra Darshanam will be at Thirukkadithaanam Sri Athapudha Narayana Perumal temple and from here it moves to Thiruvalla Sri Kolapira Perumal Temple. The celestial Kalyanam of the deities will be performed in the evening.
While on May 21 from Thiruvalla it proceeds to reach Thirvanvandoor Sri Paanbanaiyyappa Perumal temple , Thirucchenkundroor Sri Imayavarappa Perumal temple, Thiruvaaranvilal Sri Parthasaradhi Perumal temple in Aranmulla.
From there it moves ahead to Thirupuliyoor Sri Maayapiran Perumal temple and reaches Adoor via kottarakkara, kilimanoor to reach Tiruvananthapuram Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy temple and halts in the night.
On May 22 evening, the Srinivasa Kalyanam of the processional deities Sri Malayappa Swamy and Sri Devi - Bhu Devi will be performed in a big way in Tiruvananthapuram from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. With this mega religious event the five day sojourn of the Ramanuja Ratha Sancharam comes to an end.
