TTD CHAIRMAN OFFERS VASTRAMS TO GANGAMMA

Tirupati, 14 May 2016: TTD Trust Board Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy on Saturday evening offered silk vastrams on behalf of TTD to Tataiahgunta Gangamma temple in Tirupati in connection with Gangamma Jatara which falls on Mary 17.

The folk Goddess Gangamma is considered as the beloved sister of Lord Venkateswara. And it a tradition which is in practice since several years, that the Lord sends Sare to the Goddess Gangamma.

TTD Chairman took the sare from Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple and reached Gangamma temple in a celestial procession and offered silk clothes to the Goddess.

Sri GT Temple DyEO Smt Varalakshmi was also present.
