Bengaluru, 8 June 2016: TTD Trust Board chairman Dr Ch Krishna Murthy on Wednesday visited the Art of Living Ashram in Bengaluru being run by renowned spiritual guru, Sri Ravishankar Guruji and also took part in Ganapathy homam held in the ashram.
Later the board chief also visited the Gurukul Veda Pathashala run in the ashram premises along with Sri Sri where in over 350 students are undergoing training in vedic education. This school is affiliated to vedic university of TTD.
Speaking on this occasion, the chairman said, Sri Sri is one of the most important spiritual persons in the country who is striving hard to reinvent spiritual India. "Our honourable CM Sri N Chandra Babu Naidu has been strongly aspiring to make Tirupati as Spiritual Capital City of the state. For this we need the services of committed spiritual organizations like Art of Living", he added.
Earlier on Tuesday evening the chairman took part in a felicitation function organized to Sri Ravishankar at Town Hall here.
