MT bags Nalapatt Puraskar
Veteran litteratteur and script writer M.T. Vasu Devan Nair has bagged Nalapatt Memorial Cultural award for his comprehensive contributions. The award includes an amount of Rs. 10,001, citation and plaque. KPCC president V.M. Sudheeran will present the award in a function to be held on October 4.

Jayaram- Shajoon Kariyal film to be produced by Nazer
Jayaram-Shajoon Kariyal film `Sir C.P' will be produced by M.K. Nazer, under the banner of Good Line Productions. S. Suresh Babu has penned the script. Sheela and Innocent are also doing imporatnt roles in the movie.

Mammootty to do Joshiy film next year
Mammootty has teamed up with Joshiy for many movies and most of them were hits. Their last film was `Twenty 20'. The film will be on floors by next year. Mammootty-Joshiy team's first film was `Adhi Raathram'. But it was `New Delhi' of Joshiy that gave a break for Mammootty. Mammootty will be doing films of Boban Samuel, Sidique and Shafi next year. Currently Mammootty is busy with Deepu Karunakarna's project.

Jayasoorya, Remya Nambeesan in Friday Film House's next
Jayasoorya and Remya Nambeesan are doing the lead in Friday Film House's next film. `Peruchazhi' was the last film made under this banner. Their new project titled `Aadu Bheekara Jeeviyalla' is helmed by debutant Midhun Manuel Thomas. In this film Jayasoorya plays the role of president in a local club. Earlier Remya Nambeesan and Jaya Soorya have done the lead in ` Philips and the Monkey Pen' produced by Sandra Thomas and Vijay Babu made under the banner of Friday Film House.

Jyothi Krishna co star of Fahad Fazil
Jyothi Krishna will share screen space with Fahad Fazil in debutant Vinod Sukumaran's film. Jyothi dons the role of a radio jockey in the film. Jyothi Krsihna is eagerly waiting for the release of Ranjith's `Njan'. Dulquer has done male lead in the film. Jyothi plays visually challenged girl in this film.

Jayaram with Ranjith
For the first time Jayaram is acting for a film helmed by Ranjith. He has earlier acted in `Summer in Bethlahem' scripted by Ranjith and directed by Sibi Malayil. Ranjith's Jayaram film is produced under the banner of Gold Coin Motion Pictures. The film will be on floors by October at Thrissur.
