Kavya Madhavan takes drivers seat in Saji Suredran's `She Taxi'
Only after when the film  `She Taxi' was announced,  Anoop Menon's name was heard to be  in the list of the main cast.  Eventhough, Saji did not finalise whom he should appoint as a driver in his new project opposite to Anoop.  Reports say, Kavya Madhavan has committed to do the drivers duty  in this film.  She has been quite selective for the past one year.  Last film she did was one of the segments in `Anju Sundharikal'.  In Saji's new project her role is that of a driver Devayani, who goes for a trip with some students to take documentary on a temple. Various comedy incidents  happening  during the period of  ten days  trip is the story line.    Kavya's character is very skillful to tackle any situation with any person whom she had to deal in this comedy entertainer.  Others joining the film are Nobi, P.Balachandran and Suraj Venjaramoodu.  As usual Krishna Poojappura has scripted for this Saji film. Coorg, Mercara and Gundalpet are the locations.

Ranjith's `Njan' not to be screened for IFFK
Ranjith-Dulquar Salman team's new release `Njan' will not be screened in the coming  IFFK, that starts on December 12  at Thiruvanananthapuram. Ranjith wanted his film to be screened in the competition section. But the authorities  listed the film in `Malayalam Cinema Today' section.  The film is based on the story of T.P. Rajeevan's novel  `K.T.N Kottur, Ezhuthum Jeevithavum'.  Ranjith said,  he has no complaints against jury or Chalathchitra Academy. He just wanted his film to be screened in competition section. But,  since the authorities  had listed the film in Malayalam cinema today section,  he doest not want the film to be screened. `Munnariyipu',  produced by Ranjith too failed to get entry in the film festival.
Meanwhile, film critic and jury member Vijaya Krishnan pointed out that   Ranjith should consider the character of  the films selected for competition section. Eighty percent of the films selected for the competition category were of new comers.  As far as jury is concerned they have concentrated on work of art in films and not people behind it.  Sidharth Siva's `Zahir' and Sajin Babu's `Asthamayam Vare ' were also  included in  the competition category.

Remya Nabeesan in Joshiy's `Laila O Laila'
Remya Nambeesan plays cameo in `Laila O Laila' of Joshiy - Mohan Lal team.  Amala Paul plays female lead in the film.  Remya is tight lipped of  her  role in this film, since it is a suspense character of the film. Tamil actor Sathya Raj plays an important role  in  the film, which is rolling.

Vineeth  Kumar's directorial venture to be scripted by Ranjith
Buzz was going on that Fahad Fazil -Vineeth Kumar project's story is penned  by director Ranjith. Now it has been confirmed that the project will also be scripted by Ranjith.  The film will have a tinch of humour in it. Shoot of the film will  start by December. Gujarat and  Bangalore are the locations.
