`Masala Republic', `Samsaaram Aaryogyathinu Haanikaram' hit theatres 

 Dulquar Salman-Balaji Mohan team's bi-lingual film `Samsaaram Aaryogyathinu Haanikaram'  taken in Tamil and Malayalam  and `Masala Republic',   directed by G.S. Vaishakh and G.S  reached theatres on Friday. Sukumar Thekkaepatt has produced the film ` Masala Republic'. Indrajith, Aparna Nair, Sunny Wayne, Balachandran, Vinay Fort, Mamukkoya and Mala Aravindan have starred in this film. 

 Play House Motion Pictures has produced `Samsaaram Aaryogyathinu Haanikaram', in which Madhubala, Nazriya and Maniyan Pillai Raju are appearing in supporting roles. Sean Roldan has scored the music for the lyrics penned by Santhosh Varma.

Amala Paul, Nivin Pauly in `Mili'

Amala Paul, who is betrothed to director A.L.Vijay,  has committed yet another film `Mili', to be directed by Rajesh Pillai. Mahesh Naraynan, who has been in the editing field is scripting for the film.  Mahesh's editing skills could be seen in the hit films  like `Beautiful, `Traffic', `Mumbai Police' and in the latest film `Vishudhan'. His works in Tamil includes  `Vishwaroopam' and `Chinayil Oru Naal'.

Suraj Venjaramood visits Biju

Suraj Venjaramood, after winning the National award for his performace in `Perariyathavar', visited its  director   Dr.Biju. It was Biju's wife  Vijaya Sree, who recommended Suraj to do the lead role in `Perariyathavar'.  Biju contacted many  lead actors to do this role, but  they rejected the offer. Biju's son Govardhan did Suraj's son's role in the film.  It was a formal visit and Suraj spared somtime along with Biju's family at Adoor and left for Thiruvananthapuram, since he had to attend a function with Chief Minister.

Mohan Lal - B.Unni Krishnan team's `Mr. Fraud' faces ban

Mohan Lal- B.Unni Krishnan team's `Mr. Fraud', whcih is in its post production stage, is facing a ban from Exhibitors  Federation.  According to Exhibitors Federation president Liberty Basheer, the reason for imposing ban for the film is that  members of FEFKA and AMMA   failed to attend the inaugural function of  Exhibiotrs Association's new office  building.   Liberty Basheer alleged that B.Unni Krishnan, who is secretary of FEFKA influenced Sibi Malayil, president of FEFKA,  Joshy, Ranjith and also AMMA president Innocent not to participate in the function. Another reason stated for the ban is that members of  FEFKA  and AMMA   did not come to pay last  respect to veteran music director Raghavan, who died some months back.   FEFKA members are holding a meeting on April 28 to sort out the  issue.

Prithwiraj, Fahad  in Shyama Prasad's next

Prithwiraj and Fahad Fazil are doing the lead in Shyama Prasad's next film titled `Ivide'.  Shyama Prasad's last film `Artist' has won  several accolades in the State Film award 2013.  Fahad as well as  Ann Augustine won best actor awards for their perfromace in this film. Shyama Prasad's new project  is scripted by Ajay Venu Gopal. It's a  crime thriller to be shot in New Jersy. It's going to be a bi-lingual film to be made in English and Malayalam.  The film is expected to be on floors by  October.
