GRAND FINALE OF TTD PROGRAMS AT KRISHNA PUSHKARAM

·     Vedic chants cause spiritual waves at Krishna river

Vijayawada, 23 August 2016: Grand chakrasnanam was performed at the Padmavati ghat as part of the finale of activities at the model Srivari Temple, got up at PWD grounds  for  Krishna Pushkaram.

        

Earlier the ustsava idols of Sri Malayappa swamy, Sridevi and Bhudevi and sudarshana Chakrachalwar were brought from model Srivari Temple in a procession to the ghat. They were given Snapana Thirumanjanam with milk, curd, honey, sandal paste, turmeric, coconut water and other perfumed water to the vibrant chanting of vedic mantras, govinda nama smaranam by devotees and beating of drums etc. The spiritual waves spurred a devotional environment in the entire padmavati ghat as the Idols of Sri Sudarshan Chakrath Alwar were given Chakra snanam.

Among other TTD chairman Dr Chadalawada Krishnamurti, EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao and his family members and JEO Tirumala KS Sreenivasa Raju participated in the event.
