Tirupati, 26 August 2016: The sacred and holiest ritual of
Laksha Kumkumarchana for Goddess Kamakshi was performed at Sri Kapileswara Temple on August 26.
As part of the holy event Vighneswara Pooja, Punyaha Vachanam and Sankalpam will be performed in the morning before the first phase of Laksha Kumkumarchana till 11.30 AM.

After Naivedyam and Harati, the second phase of Laksha Kumkumarchana was performed till 6.00 PM in the evening Later the rituals of Nivedana, Deeparadhana, Harati Theertha Prasadam were offered to the holy deity. A grand procession of Swami and Ammavari utsava idols on the mada streets was also held between 6.30 to 9.00 PM.
Devotees who participated in the divine Kumkumarchana event with a Rs.200 fee were presented One laddu and Kukuma prasadam. Cultural programs like Bhakti music and bhajans were organised by the artisans of Annamayya Project and Dasa sahitya project.
Among others local temples Dy EO Sri Balaji, chief priest Sri Udaya Gurukul, Sri Swaminath gurukul and Sri Manivasa Gurukul and others participated.
