TTD HEALTH WINGS EXCELS IN SERVING PUSHKARA DEVOTEES

·  335 TTD health wing engaged in keeping srivari model temple clean and green
·  TTD team and Sulabh cleaning garbage, toilets and kitchens at Vijayawada  
Vijayawada, 16 Aug. 16: The TTD Health wing is rendering selfless service in cleaning the premises and providing  a healthy and spiritual environment at the TTD model temple complex on the PWD grounds of Vijayawada as part of the Krishna Pushkaram and has earned appreciation by the pushkar devotees.

The 335 member team from the Tirumala health department are undertaking maintenance of the foot wear counters, drinking water distribution and keeping the entire model temple complex clean and green. They include senior sanitary inspectors, sanitary inspectors, sulabh supervisors, sanitary maistries, depalis and 315 sulabh workers operating on a three shifts on a 24x7 basis. 

Their task is to clear the garbage near Model temple, clean the utensils, provide drinking water to devotees in queue lines, clean the road during Pushkara shobha yatra of Lord Venkateswara and keep the track near Padmavati ghat clean and green.

In coordination with Vijayawada municipal corporation they are also supporting the engineering department in maintaining all the TTD annadanam complexs. They include the TTD kalyana mandapam, Swaraj maidan, Zilla parishad school at Srik







akulam, Sri Andhra Vishnu Alayam, complexs  near Amaravati  Buddha sthupam and Vijayawada bus stand.

Their tasks included cleaning of toilets, archaka nilayam, kitchens and clearing garbage, spraying chemicals like DDT, bleaching powder, chlorination and Malathion.

On the directions of TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao and  Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju the teams Chief Health officer of TTD Dr.Sharmista and Sri P Amarnath Reddy had undertaken the arduous task of keeping the model Srivari temple complex clean and pollution free at Vijayawada for the duration of the Krishna Pushkaram on behalf of the TTD.
