TTD SHOWCASED DEVOTIONAL ACTIVITES AT KRISHNA PUSHKARAMS

   2500 artists present programs  for 12 day
   HDPP,Dasa Sahitya and Annamayya Project sponsors events
   Devotional music, harikathas, bhajans and purana pravachanams
   Booklets and Srivari/Ammavari photos also freely distributed
   Pushkaram devotees enthralled by TTD bouquet of activites
   Programs at all four regions including Telangana(Mahbubnagar)

Vijayawada, 21 August 2016: The grand spectacle of devotional culture- dance, music and discourses laid out by the TTD at all four regional platform during the Krishna Pushkarams was a grand success with huge devotee appreciation and following.   

The nearly 2500 artists sponsored by the Hindu dharma parachara parishad, Annamayya Project, Dasa Sahitya project and the SV Dance and Music college presented, devotional music, dance harikathas and discourses for last 15 days and enthralled the  pushkaram devotees.

The massive glittering platforms were set up at Model Srivari temple Vijayawada, Gautama Buddha statue, Amaravati, Guntur, ZP high school of Srikakulam (Krishna dist), Sri Bala Brahmheswar temple, Alampur in Mahbubnagar.

It was a  feast of devotional music,dance, purana pravachanam and harikathas that the pushkara devotees enjoyed  after a holy dip in the Krishna rive. 

AT MODEL SRIVARI TEMPLE:

   In the morning Mangala dhwani,Vishnu Sahasra namams,Govinda namams, and Veda parayanam and Ghana swasti were presented  by the Students of SV music and dance college and teachers of SV Vedadyayana Institute.

   Again in the evening three bhajan troupes daily,Gatra sangeetham for Unjal seva,  Bhakti music, were presented by  1500 artists of the Dasa sahitya project  for 12 days .Veda parayanam and Ghana swasti teachers of SV Vedadyayana  Institute .
At the Model Srivari Temple, the HDPP also freely distributed  booklets on Vishnu Sahasranamam, Nadiki Namaskaram, Sri Venkateswara Suprabhatham, and Sbhubapradam  along with pocket size  photos aof Srivaru and Ammavaru and Govindamalas .  

        
At the Amaravati Buddha statue nearly 500 artistes had presented various programs during last 12 days which included recitation of Vishnu Sahasranamam, harikathas and devotional music in morning. Later in the day bhajans, nama sankirtans, music concerts, harikathas on Mahabharata episodes, were presented daily  to enthrall the pushkara devotees.

On August 20th and 21st, the mythological dramas like Sri Krishna Paramatma and Srinivasa Kalyanam presented by the  Subba raju nataka kala parishad and Sri Padmavati Srinivasa Nataka Kala samiti had earned large  kudos from puskaram devotees.

AT SRIKAKULAM GHAT (KRISHNA DIST)

At the platform near ZP higher school Purana Pravachanam on Bharatam-Virat Parvam, Ramayanam-Sundara kandam were presented. Harikatha by Smt Vijayakumari of Tirupati on Mahabharata was also serialised. Nearly 100 artistes presented programs  daily for last 12 days.

Enthused by the audience the TTD printing press employees also presented the Srinivasa Kalyanam on August 18th with AP Deputy Speaker Sri Madali Buddha Prasad as chief guest.

AT ALAMPUR IN MAHABUBNAGAR (TELANGANA): Nearly 400 artists presented programs in the Sri Bala Brahmeswar swami temple-bhagavatha pravachanam, harikathas by Sri Prodatturu Yella Reddy.
