Tirupati, 25 August 2016: TTD chairman Dr Chadalawada  Krishnamurthy today appealed that the holy cow a symbol of Hindu dharma would be protected with devotee participation. 

Participating in the Gokulashtami celebrations at the Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshana shala this morning TTD chairman said that The Cow had a distinct place in Hindu dharma and every one should worship and its beget blessings for wellbeing.

He said the rich traditions and well defined Hindu religious practices which enhanced the natural resources for the all round development of the society should be handed down for generations.

TTD would provide all financial support to institutions which would set up goshalas all over country to end cow slaughter. One its on TTD was establishing an ultra modern Goshala over 450 acres  near Palamaner in Chittoor district.
