VAHANAM BEARERS PRESENTED CASH AWARDS AT BRAHMOTSAVAMS

Tirumala, 8 October 2016: It is a wind fall for the Vahanam bearers of Lord Venkateswara on the mada streets,  who bear the weight of the vahanams loaded with the utsava idols every day- both morning and evening, making millions of pilgrims blessed.

They were presented a purse of Rs. four lakhs at  the Vaibhotsavam mandapam by the TTD Tirumala Joint Executive Officer Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju on behalf of the TTD board member Sri Shekar.

Similarly  the TTD board member Dr Pasupuleti Hariprasad presented a purse of Rs. One Lakh to the vahanam bearers on Friday morning on the occasion of the Hanumantha Vahanam.
