Tirumala, 15 November 2016: The special arrangements of Annaprasadam distribution to pilgrims in Tirumala will continue for a few more days, in the wake of currency crush, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.
The weekly review meeting was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday by the EO along with Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.
Directing the Annaprasadam officials, the EO said there should not be any hurdles to the pilgrims in the distribution of food. Later he instructed the engineering officials to improve the Prasadam distribution counters inside Tirumala temp,e for the sake of the pilgrims. He also instructed the officials concerned to make necessary announcements in Laddu Prasadam distribution counters enabling the pilgrims to get laddus even in first floor counters also to avoid congestion and waste of time in queue lines in the counters.
The EO said Aadhar is must for the pilgrims for darshan, accommodation, laddu Prasadam and other privileges in Tirumala and the other relevant IDs like PAN, voter ID etc can be considered if the pilgrim is not having Aadhar.
The EO also discussed in elaborate about the status of ongoing development works in various departments.
TTD CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, SE 2 Sri Ramachandra Reddy, VGOs Sri Ravindra Reddy, Smt Vimala Kumari, Smt Sadalakshmi, Health Officer Dr Sermista and other HoDs were also present.
