• TTD to bear service charges of donations to TTD trusts and Schemes .
Tirupati 5 December 2016: TTD Executive officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao today said that for benefit of devotees to Tirumala and Tirupati, and as per directions of GPI, there will be no additional charges on all cashless (online) transactions till Dec 31.
After review meeting with all bankers at the TTD admin building today the TTD EO urged the bankers to ensure that the devotees did not suffer any inconvenience in the aftermath of the demonetisation.
He said the banks will not add any additional charges for online services made at either Tirupati or Tirumala for booking rooms, purchase of Srivari dollars, Laddu prasadam, publications, diaries and calendars. The devotees would have choice of use of credit or debit card, rupay cards, besides internet banking.
He also thanked and appealed to the bankers to facilitate the devotees with changes and small notes collected in the hundi as per availability at the Parakamani.
Dr Sambasiva Rao said that there would be no additional service charges for the donors for the e-hundi or e-donations. The TTD has decided to bear the cost of service charges of the donors for the TTD trusts and other schemes to facilitate the devotees.
Among others TTD FA&CAO Sri O Balaji, CAO Sri Ravi Prasadu, IT in charge Sri Sesha Reddy, Andhra Bank DGM Sri Krishnamurti, SBI regional manager Sri D Venkateswara Rao participated in the meeting.
