Four tree clusters have
been planted today at four corners of a square piece of land by four senior
employees in the presence of Sri Vinod K Agrawal, Director General & EO Spl
Chief Secretary to Government of Telangana to commemorate the Institute’s 40
years of endeavours to promote excellence in governance through training.
“Each cluster has three
trees, namely, Juvvi, representing Brahma, Raavi, representing Vishnu, and
Medi, representing Maheshwara in Indian mythology. When planted together, they
represent oneness of knowledge and divinity”, said Sri Agrawal.
Sri Agrawal stated that
this venue will be utilised to conduct open air classes as natural and divine
environment, in the open and under the trees, would encourage creativity and
learning. “This experiment will also encourage trainers to move away from the
rigid discipline of traditional training methods to imaginative newer initiatives
in the domain of learning and development”, he added. .
A large number of
officers, faculty, and staff members, including Dr. K. Tirupataiah, IFS,
Additional Director General and Smt. Anitha Balakrishna, IA&AS, Joint
Director General, were also present on the occasion.
