Tirumala, 17 January 2017: With an aim to provide more transparent services to millions of devotees of Lord Venkateswara spread across the globe, TTD will soon develop and launch a "Mobile App", asserted TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.
The weekly review meeting was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday by EO along with Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar. Talking to media persons after review meeting TTD Supremo instructed said that he has directed the IT wing of TTD and TCS team to develop a pilgrim friendly mobile app to facilitate easy booking of rooms, darshan, laddu Prasadam and to make e-Donations too.
Rs.300 BOOKING GOES MOBILE FRIENDLY
Adding further, the EO said, already those who have internet facility on their mobiles are opting for booking Rs.300 tickets. "Interestingly so far over 30% of pilgrims have already booked Rs.300 tickets through mobile compatibility. This should reach wider range of pilgrim public. Very soon we will launch a mobile app for the sake of pilgrims", he added.
The EO also said, TTD has enhanced the booking of Rs.300 tickets from six to ten for the sake of pilgrims.
