Tirumala, 10 February 2017: The annual fest of Ramakrishna Teertha Mukkoti has been observed with religious fervour in this sacred torrent located in the deep green forests of Seshachala ranges on Friday.
According to Brahmapurana, the Ramakrishna Teertham falls under the category of Mukti Prada Teertham. On friday morning after the second bell, a team of priests left to Ramakrishna Teertham, which is located 6miles away from hill temple. This mukkoti is usually observed on the full moon day in the month of Makara (capricorn) is considered to be highly divine for holy dip.
There the priests organised special abhishekam to Sri Rama and Sri Krishna Swamyvaru, which are considered to be the presiding deity of the utsavarulu located inside sanctum sanctorum of Tirumala temple.
