TIRUMALA, 28 March 2017: With just few days left for the summer vacation rush to commence in Tirumala, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has directed all the HoDs to gear up to give the best of their services to multitude of visiting pilgrims.
The weekly review meeting took place at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday by TTD EO along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju. The EO reviewed on department wise activities and also on summer arrangements.
He instructed the vigilance wing to install new scanners in Alipiri checking point with in a week's time as the summer rush is set to commence from second week of April.
Later the EO informed the IT wing and TCS to test launch mobile app on the festival occasion of Telugu Ugadi on Wednesday. "The online applications have been receiving tremendous response from the people. So far 1500 out of 2200 Cottage Donors have logged in the new Cottage Donor Management System(CDMS) app which shows the positive nod from devotees. Even the Srivari Sevakulu have also been enrolling online from far off places is a welcoming gesture", he added.
To put a check to irregularities and those involving in corruptive practices in darshan, laddu prasadam etc.the EO has announced special incentive to those who help TTD to catch hold of such negative elements.
Appreciating the documentary telecasted on National Geographic Channel on TTD, the EO said TTD welcome more such channels to give a projective documentary on TTD to reach global pilgrims.
The EO said so far about 4870 Divyadarshanam pilgrims sponsored by State Government had darshan of Lord Venkateswara so far and directed the concerned to keep a record of their data.
Additional FACAO Sri Balaji, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, other HoDs in Tirumala were also present.
