DONORS SHOULD OBTAIN DIGITAL PASS BOOKS BEFORE APRIL 30-EO

Tirupati, 23 March 2017: The donors offering largesse to TTD trusts and scheme should get the digital pass books before April 30, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

Reviewing with Tirupati Incharge Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju on Donor management system in his chambers in Tirupati on Thursday, the EO the Donor Management System has been introduced to avoid delay and enhance transparency in offering privileges to donors with the help of TCS and TTD IT wing from September 13 last.

With this system, the donors can get their acknowledgement and IT exemption certificate within 48hours of their offerings being generated in banks. "So far 40 thousands donors have offered their contributions to various trust and solo scheme of TTD. Of them 35% of them have generated digital pass books so far. To speed up the services and enhance transparency, I urge the remaining donors to obtain digital pass books before April 30", he added.

Adding further he said, "In the last six months after the introduction of the new online system, over 4200 have donated over one Lakh and they are procured digital pass books. New donors will get the SMS confirmation within 48hours. The names of Trust wise donors will also be displayed on our website for transparency", he added.

On Cottage Donor Management System, the EO said, this new system will be launched in from April 1 onwards. "Earlier we used to send the coupons and life certificate through post. Due to postal delay and other reasons both the management and donors used to suffer a lot. But now with the new online system, we have dispensed with life certificate. For self donors, they can send the coupons online a day before while for those who are recommended by donors they should send coupons four days prior. For the donors have to mention the names of those whom they are recommending on the coupons itself in online", he maintained.

The EO also said, to prevent the misuse of letters on the name of VIPs, the signatures of all VIPs will be gathered and an SMS alert to their mobile numbers will be sent soon after issuing arjitha Seva or VIP darshan ticket. "In the case of any problem, the donors can contact our call centres, which will function round the clock", he added.
