Tirupati, 16 March 2017: As the annual Brahmotsavams of Lord Sri Kodandarama Swamy is scheduled from March 24 to April 2, Tirupati JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar has called up on all the officials to gear up for the mega religious fete.
A review meeting in this regard was held in the temple premises by Tirupati JEO with all HoDs in Tirupati connected to the temple related activities. He instructed the electrical, civil and garden wings of TTD to make attractive illumination, painting rangolis in temple premises and set up floral dioramas respectively for the ensuing fete to attract the pilgrims.
Later he instructed the Vigilance wing head in Tirupati Sri Sivakumar Reddy to make necessary security arrangements for the annual fete and also utilise the services of Srivari Sevakulu wherever necessary during the Utsavams.
He also directed the temple staff to procure sufficient quantity of Mutyala Talambralu required for Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam. "All keep the Ramakoti books and cards ready for the sake of the devotees", he added.
The JEO also instructed the Dasa, Annamacharya and HDPP wings to arrange attractive cultural programs during procession of vahanams.
In connection with Brahmotsavams and special Utsavams, TTD has cancelled regular arjitha sevas including Sahasra Kalasabhishekam and monthly Hanumantha Vahana Seva on March 28, Kalyanotsavam on April 4 and Astottara Satakalasabhhishekam on April 10.
Meanwhile during the annual Brahmotsavams the important days includes Dhwajarohanam on March 25, Garuda Seva on March 29, Hanumantha Vahanam on March 30, Rathotsavam on April 1 and Chakrasnanam on April 2. While Sri Rama Navami on April 5, Sri Sita Ramakalyanam on April 6 and Sri Rama Pattabhishekam on April 7 will be observed in a big way. The annual teppotsavams will be observed for three days from April 8-10 in Sri Ramachandra Pushkarini.
SEs Sri Venkateswarulu, Sri Ramulu, Garden Dy Director Sri Srinivasulu, CMO Dr Vikas, Deputy Health Officer Dr Sunil, Temple Dyeo Smt Munilakshmi, Superintendent Sri Uma Maheswara Reddy, Temple Inspector Sri Sesha Reddy, and others were also present.
