Human Chain Tuberculosis Awareness program held today March24 (World Tuberculosis day) 11am to 12pm at KB Daasan Salai, Aalwarpet


























Every year 10 to 15 lakh people die of tuberculosis. This dangerous disease is seen more spreading in developing countries.
In 1882 doctor Robert koch discovered the causative agent for the fatal disease tuberculosis to be Bacillus anthracis & stunned other scientists. Today March 24 is considered as World Tuberculosis day.
25% of World Tuberculosis patients are in India. Although there is the RNTCP(Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme) by the Government of India, there is still lack of awareness that TB is air-borne and common public etiquettes of coughing, sneezing, disposal of sputum etc contribute to the spread of TB.

Rotary club shuddha & Hyuma special hospital & SIET College Students combinely arranged for the Human chain awareness program that held today
(March 24) from 11am to 12noon.
