Tirumala, 3 March 2017: To ease the darshan ticket booking system, TTD will launch its own mobile app on the auspicious occasion of Telugu Ugadi on March 29, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.
INTERNET LOTTERY SYSTEM
After Dial Your EO program addressing media persons, he said providing better amenities to pilgrims is a never ending activity in Tirumala. We are also planning the feasibility to check Internet Lottery System keeping in view the demand for arjitha Seva tickets which will take a couple of months.
On the lines of Rs.300 and Divya Darshanam complexes, the Sarva Darshan Complex will come up in next three months at a cost of Rs.5cr. Since its date of launch in August 2015 till January 2017, so far 1.25crore pilgrims had seeghra darshan.
ON OLD NOTES:
So far about Rs.8crores worth old notes have been offered in Srivari Hundi. We have already informed the same with RBI and Government of India for further initiative.
ADVANCED CC CAMERAS SOON
The EO also said, very soon a Bengaluru based firm has come forward to offer 150 high end cameras to TTD to enhance the vigilance and surveillance in Tirumala.
TEPPOTSAVAMS FROM MARCH 8-12-TIRUMALA JEO
The annual Teppotsavams will be performed from March 8-12 with Lord Sri Rama taking pleasure ride on float on first day, Lord Sri Krishna on Second day and Lord Sri Malayappa Swamy on final three days, said Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

The original Bhagavatam series is coming out with text and meaning in Telugu in an excellent manner and the same we are planning to bring one Lakh slokas in Mahabharatam with a meaning in Telugu soon.

ANNAPRASADAM IN TPT CHOWLTRIES-CATERING OFFICER
With a view to provide Annaprasadam to the devotees staying in I and II NC chowltries Annaprasadam has been started by TTD from March 1 onwards, said Catering Officer Sri GLN Shastry.
He also said, that sambar bath and curd rice with chutney will be distributed to the devotees. The catering officer also said that more buttermilk will be supplied to devotees during ensuing summer season in Tirumala.
