Two Crores Worth Jewels Donated Lord Kalyana Venkanna

The Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy of Srinivasa Mangapuram received Rs.2crores worth jewels from Lord Venkateswara of Tirumala on Thursday.

The jewels were handed over to the temple by TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju. Speaking on this occasion the EO said, these jewels comprising two nagabharanams, one surya Katherine weighing around 3.75kilos with an amalgamation of gold and silver worth around two crores have been donated to Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy. "These jewels will be adorned to the deity for Pushpayagam on March 24", he added.
DyEO Sri Venkataiah was also present.
