S.P.Singh, Chief Secretary has directed the officials to make necessary
arrangements for smooth conduct of distribution of Fish Prasadam at Exhibition
Grounds on June 8 and 9 ,2017.
The
Chief Secretary held a coordination meeting
at Secretariat today with all the concerned Departments on the arrangements for the distribution of ‘Fish
Prasadam’.
During the meeting
he instructed the officials make security arrangements with CCTV , proper lighting ,
strong barricades, temporary sheds for patients , NGOs stalls, more fish distribution
counters and provision of adequate water tankers for storing of
fishlings etc. Special queues for
physically handicapped, old age and ladies with small kids will be arranged.
He also stressed on maintenance of
sanitation, garbage clearance ,regular
cleaning with bleaching powder. He also instructed to
provide sufficient drinking water at the
venue for patients and also for their dependants, visitors and officials on duty .
Arrangements should also be made for provision of
milk at the venue for benefit of the people visiting Exhibition grounds. He advised that token
distribution shall be done properly without any inconvenience to the people.
The Chief Secretary directed that a
24x7 control room at Exhibition grounds should be set up for monitoring of the
crowds coming from all over country with necessary bandobust.
The
Chief Secretary also directed the
officials to make full proof arrangements for uninterrupted power supply , Special RTC
buses to fly from bus stands and Railway stations he added. Adequate medical
units ,ambulances and fire engines to be provided to meet any exigencies
during the nonstop distribution of the fish prasadam on those
days.
