Tirupati to be Hub of Knowledge and Economic Activity in AP - AP Cm

Tirumala, 21 May 2017: AP Chief Minister Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu today said that temple town of Tirupati will be hub of knowledge and all around economic acvity of Andhra Pradesh.

The chief ministers family came for Darshan of Lord Venkateswara after aksharabyasam of their grand son where in the chief minister taught him the first six letters of Amma, Andhra Pradesh, Amravati, Arogyam, Anandam and Adayam. "I got these six letters imbibed in my grandsons Aksharabhyasam to remain as a landmark inspiration in his life and also that of every youth in the state' he said. Adding that he would soon launch a unique program Ammaku-Vandanam to enhance moral values and good practices among youth in the state.

Earlier the Chief Minister along with family members entered the Vaikuntam Q complex from the ATC and when his team reached the main gate the TTD EO Sri Ashok Kumar Singhal and JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju and chief priest welcomed him with traditional honors.

Speaking to reporters after darshan of Lord Venkateswara at Srivari Temple all of his programs highlighting the above Six letters would be imbibed in all the nation building and development activities in the state including Polavaram etc. Iam confident that this program will be a role model for financial inclusion and happy society for everyone.

Asked about a new board for TTD, he said soon it will be nominated. 'As long as I am CM there will be no politics in Gods service'. The TTD EO will strive to protect and enhance the spiritual and sacredness of Tirumala, he said.

Chandrababu Naidu said that he was born at the feet of Lord Venkateswara and observed all rituals and traditions without fail. 'I always prayed for Lord Venkateswara since the beginning and hence have been successful in every activity. There is need to protect the holiness of the Tirumala and Tirupati and the TTD EO will strive to ensure it.

He said during a review meeting with the TTD EO, Chittoor Collector, and the Tirupati Municipal Commissioner during the car journey he had directed them to take up leap frog economic and development activities to take forward the good name of Tirupati as a clean city and also a spiritual hub of Lord Venkateswara.The four temple hubs of Vontimetta, Srikalahasti, KanIpakkam and Tirupati will be promoted as a devotional temple circuit.


He said the Tirupati-Nellore and Yerpedu Chennai will be developed as a tri-city with industrial hubs and knowledge hubs etc. Beach roads from Visakhapatnam (like the California road) will the highlight of the road connectivity to the already existing five national highways linked to Tirupati. He said Tirupati with 165 lakes will be promoted as a green and clean city as a role model of Suvarnadhrapradesh. 

AP CM said that the drinking water problem of Chittoor town will also be resolved at the earliest by speeding up the ongoing irrigation projects -Galeru Nagari, Handi Neeva, Balajisagar and Malle Madugu.

CVSO Sri G Srinivas, DyDLO Sri Venkatasubba Naidu, Reception Officials Sri Haridranath, Sri Lakshminarayana Yadav, Temple DyEO Sri Rama Rao, Peishkar Sri Ramesh and others were present.
