Elaborate Arrangements for Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams - TTD JEo

Vijayawada, 28 June 2017: The temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is making elaborate arrangements for the week-long big religious event Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams from July 2 to July 9 in PWD Grounds of Vijayawada, said Tirupati JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar.

Speaking to media persons after inspecting the ongoing arrangements in the grounds here on Wednesday he said the chief aim behind the programme is to facilitate the devotees to witness the sevas that are being performed in Tirumala at the door steps of devotees in their home towns. "This programme gained popularity within short span and so far we have organised this fete in Vizag, Guntur, Mumbai and Hyderabad", he added.

PHOTO-GARDEN EXPO AND ELECTRICAL ILLUMINATION TO STAND AS HIGHLIGHTS

He said the photo exhibition depicting the interesting aspects related to Tirumala, VVIP visits, jewels of lord, religious events etc. will remain as a highlight during the fete apart from the gorgeous electrical illuminations with mythological themes and erection of floral diaromas. 

LOCAL SRIVARI SEVA VOLUNTEERS ARE WELCOME

To extend services to the devotees who participate in this religious event, the local Srivari Seva volunteers can take part. Their services will be utilised in the distribution of food, queue line maintenance, exhibition etc. Every day the temple will be open from 6:30am with Suprabhatam till Ekantha Seva by 9pm. Meanwhile there will  Astadalam on July 4, Sahasra Kalasabhishekam on July 5, Tiruppavada on July 6, Abhishekam on July 7, Vasanthotsavam and Srinivasa Kalyanam on July 8 and concludes with Pushpayagam on July 9.

PARKING AND QUEUE LINE SYSTEM

As tens of thousands of devotees are expected to take part in the fete, elaborate arrangements of parking, queue line management etc. are in offing.

DEVOTIONAL PROGRAMS WITH VERSATILE MUSICIANS TO ENTHRALL DENIZENS OF VIJAYAWADA

As the week long religious event of Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams are scheduled from July 2 to July 9, eminent scholars and versatile musicians are set to enthrall the denizens of Vijayawada.

As a part of the mega event, there will be religious discourse by Sri Kompella Ramasuryanarayana followed by devotional musical concert by Gazal Srinivas, on July 3 HH Sri Siddheswarananda Bharati Swamy will render his divine address followed by devotional extravaganza by Sri Gangadhara Shastry.

While every day from July 4 to 9, during Unjal Seva between 4pm and 6:30pm there will be devotional music program followed by Dharmika Upanyasam between 7pm and 8:15pm. On July 4 Sri PR Kousalya and Sri Krishna team will render spiritual songs while the religious discourse will be by Sri Mylavarapu Srinivasa Rao, while on July 5 the sankeertans by Sri Pavan Kumar of Hyderabad and discourse by Sri Mallapragada Srimannarayana, On July Musical Concert by Malladi Brothers and discourse by Sri Kasireddi Venkat Reddy, on July 7 Sri G Balakrishnaprasad and Smt Bullemma duo will render the Annamaiah Keertans and the discourse by Sri Dhulipalla Prabhakara Krishnamurthy while on July 8 Sri Vasu Rao and his team will render sankeertans and on final day by Smt Bullemma.
