Tirumala, 25 July 2017: "Providing best possible amenities to the pilgrims with transparency and with zero defect system is the ultimate motto of TTD, asserted Tirumala JEO  KS Sreenivasa Raju.

The JEO organised weekly review meeting with various HoDs on the various developmental activities at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala. Later speaking to media persons, the JEO briefed them that the recent initiatives introduced by TTD are yielding good results. "The token system for allotment of rooms at CRO is garnering huge response from the pilgrims. On July 22 we have alloted 2948 rooms while on Sunday on July 23 about 3072 rooms were allotted with utmost transparency. All our wings including vigilance, reception, IT, PRO,





Srivari Seva volunteers have been rendering best services to stabilise the system to ensure cent percent results and the result is the achievement. We still have some technical glitches which will be overcome soon", he maintained.

Speaking on the Divya Darshan token system, the JEO said, From July 17 onwards, TTD has introduced the tokens for pedestrian pilgrims limiting it to 20000 a day which includes 14000 tokens at Alipiri and 6000 tokens at Srivarimettu. "About 1.5lakh pilgrims had a very comfortable time slot darshan in the last eight days through this system. Additional token issuing counters will be arranged at Galigopuram and Srivarimettu soon", he added.

The JEO also said, the simultaneous in and out lines being maintained at Vedivakili has given way for a hassle free darshan to pilgrims. "Now in an hour about 5300 devotees can have a convenient darshan. The two lines near theertham system is also yielding positive results", JEO informed.

APPEAL TO PARENTS

Over the alleged missing of a seven year old girl child in Tirumala a couple of days ago, the JEO said both the TTD vigilance and police have already sent their teams to Vellore in Tamilnadu as it was suspected that an unidentified woman took the girl along with her in Vellore enroute bus as per the evidence of CCTV footage.

"Tirumala being a place of heavy human activity with scores of pilgrims swarming to the hill town, I appeal to the parents to take care of their kids and please do not leave them alone", he urged.

JEO INSPECTS AGED LINE

Earlier Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju has inspected the specially challenged and aged people darshan token issuing centre locating opposite SV Mueseum in Tirumala on Tuesday.

He also verified the token issuing system, functioning of battery cars pressed into service for this category pilgrims.
