Replica Temple of Lord Venkateswara Opens up at Vijayawada

Vijayawada, 3 July 2017: The replica temple of temple of Lord Venkateswara opened on a religious note in PWD grounds of Vijayawada on Mondayevening in connection with the week long fete of Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams.

On the first day evening, the religious ceremonies including Punyahavachanam, Vastu Shanti Homam, Visvaksena Puja, Tiruveedhi Utsavam were performed by the priests between 4:30pm to 6pm before the temple is opened up for the devotees.

HH Sri Siddheswarananda Bharati Swamy of Kutralam Mounswami Mutt of Tamilnadu rendered spiritual address on the importance of the fete followed by the melodious rendition of keertans by renowned devotional playback singer Gangadhara Shastri.

TEMPLE RITUALS ON JULY 4 

Meanwhile there will be Suprabhatam by 6:30am, Thomala and Koluvu between 7am and 8am followed by archana.

The weekly rituals commences with Asta Dala Pada Padmaradhana Seva otherwise called "Swarna Pushparchana" where in the archakas render 108 sacred names of Lord by offering each golden lotus at the holy feet of the deity for each name. This ritual will be observed between 9am and 10am.

While in the evening there will be unjal seva between 5:45pm to 6:30pm followed by Tiruveedhi utsavam between 6:30pm to 7:15pm. During Unjal Seva, Smt Kousalya and  Sri Krishna team will render devotional keertans which will be followed by religious discourse by renowned scholar
