The Executive Committee Meeting of the Telangna Brahmin Samkshema
Parishad is held today, presided over by its Chairman,
Dr. K.V.Ramanachary, IAS (R), Advisor to Government.

The Executive Committee
has taken the following decisions in tune with the objectives of the Telangana
Brahmin Samkshema Parishad:

Under the scheme VIVEKANANDA OVE*-+RSEAS EDUCATION, a scheme
intended to benefit eligible Brahmin students to pursue higher studies abroad,
a total number of 32 applications are received.

Under the scheme
SARASWATHI VIDYA PRASASTHI, a scheme to extend financial assistance to
Brahmin students as one time grant to enable them pursue higher education in
the State, a total number of 137 applications have been received.

An expert Committee is constituted for physical verification
of Certificates of the students so selected in all the schemes of the Parishad
with Dr. K.V. Ramana Chary, IAS (R), Chairman, TBSP
Dr. S. Venugopla Chary, Sri Puranam Satish Kumar, MLC and
Dr. Suvarna Sulochana Members TBSP and Sri K. Chandra Mohan, Administrator, TBSP.

Out of total amount approved for release of Rs.2.70 crores, an
amount of Rs.2.00 Crores has now been released on 07.07.2017 to Roads &
Buildings Department for construction of Viprahita Brahmin Sadan at the site
allotted to Telangana Brahmin Samkshema Parishad in Sy.No.74/P, Gopanapally
(v), Sherilingampally Mandal of RR Dist.

National Insurance Company Limited has been selected as one
of the Agencies for taking up Health Insurance Scheme to willing Brahmin family
members who are in the age group of 18-60 years and their income is nor more
than Rs.4.00 lakhs per annum. Each
family consisting of 1+3 members should apply online by depositing Rs.1000/- as
their contribution of premium.

A scheme to provide employment to unemployed Brahmin youth in
Telangana (TEST) is brought out to impart training in employable skills and
help them secure placements thereafter.
The details of the scheme are enclosed.

An extent of Ac.1.00 of land donated by Dr.A.Ramaiah at
Durajpally (v), Suryapet Mandal abutting National Highway 65 for construction
of Viprahita Brahmin Sadan is accepted. It is decided to meet the Registration Fee
of the land in favour of Telangana Brahmin Samkshema Parishad. It is also decided to release an amount of
Rs.75.00 lakhs sanctioned for taking up construction of Viprahita Brahmin Sadan
at Suryapet.

AKSHAYA NIDHI, a scheme to invite donations from the socially
minded philanthropists is approved. An
amount of Rs.50,000/- is given as first contribution by Dr. K.V. Ramanachary,
IAS (R), Advisor to Govt & Chairman of Telangana Brahmin Samkshema
Parishad, from his monthly pension. Other Members donated to the Akshya Nidi of
TBSP are Sri Puranam Satish Kumar, MLC – Rs.1,01,116/-, Dr. S. Venugopala
Chary, Special Representative of Govt. of Telangana – Rs.51,000/- and Sri
Chakilam Anil Kumar – Rs.1,01,116/-

Sri K. Kishan Rao, former Chief Consultant, APITCO and a
resource person on skill development and training is appointed as Director to
manage the Centre for Competitive Examinations for the Brahmin youth.
·
Sri Gururaja Rao & Co, Chartered Accountants, Hydrabad,
has been appointed as Auditors to Telangana Brahmin Samkshema Parishad, who
have promised to extend their services free of cost for one year.
·
The proposal to empower Brahim youth with skill development
submitted by M/s. Golars Networks Pvt. Ltd. is approved. The details are enclosed.
·
The proposal to extend financial assistance of Rs.15,000/- as
funeral expenses to poor Brahmin families is approved.
