Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation - Haritha Haram Program

Today (Monday) The Government of Telangana initiated Telanganaku Haritha Haram programme which the Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation & Department of Tourism in co ordination with Sports Authority of Telangana had flag shipped the rally of 3^rd Phase of Haritha Haaram from L.B Stadium to Hill fort Palace (Ritz Hotel) Basheerbagh, 520 No’s of plants were planted by the TSTDC staff and sports school students. An oath was taken to put as many plant as possible to make Telangana a “Golden Telangana”.

The programme was inaugurated by Ms Mithali Raj, Capitan, India women’s cricket team.

The following were present in the event at L.B Stadium:

   Sri Pervaram Ramulu, IPS (Retd) Chairman TSTDC

  Sri A. Venkateshwar Reddy, Chairman, Sports Authority of Telangana State

  Sri Dinakar Babu, IAS, VC & MD Sports Authority of Telangana State

  Dr. Christina Z Chongthu, IAS, Managing Director, TSTDC.

The Haritha Haram was also performed at Haritha Lake view resort, Shamirpet. About 2000 plants are been planted by TSTDC staff and Youth hostel students.

Further it is to inform that at all the properties of TSTDC in the state, around 66,000 plants will be planted by the TSTDC employees.
