Pavitra Garlands Adorned to Lord

Tirumala, 4 August 2017: On the second day of the ongoing three day annual Pavitrotsavams which is also known as Sarva Kamaprada Utsavam, the processional deities of Sri Malayappa Swami, Sri Devi and Bhu Devi were decked with sacred Pavitra Malas on Friday.

These silk threads spun in different natural colours are made into a garland and it will be adorned to deities after Snapana Tirumanjanam.

TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal, Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju, Temple DyEO Rama Rao, Peishkar Ramesh, Bokkasam incharge Gururaja RAO, OSD Seshadri and others took part.
