Garba Dance Hypnotises Devotees During Surya Prabha Vahanam























Tirumala, 29 September 2017: Garba dance by artists from Bangalore kept the devotees captivated in the galleries of four mada streets during the procession of Surya prabha Vahanam.

The dharmic and cultural wings of TTD-HDPP, Dasa sahitya, Annamacharya projects and SV music and dance college had streamlined artists from all over the country to present their talents infront of the Vahanams on Mada streets to enthrall the devotees.

The artists Sri Gopika bhajan mandali of Bangalore presented the Garba dance which is popular in Gujarat and West Bengal. Dressed in bright red banding print lehengas, they danced to rhythm even as a cute little girl as "Bala krishna" stood among them playing the flute, spectacularly presenting the episode of Sri Krishna Rasa leela.

The episode from Ramayanam where in the ears of Surpanakha were cut off by Lakshmana was aptly displayed by the artists of Sri Annamaiayya Saranagati seva Samiti led by Sri Rajamohan.

Artists of Sri Bhakta Prahalada bhajan mandali from Hubli in Karnataka dressed as Gods and Goddesses presented an  alluring dance. 

Similarly the artists of Sri Rama  bhajan mandali of Karvetinagaram of Chittoor and also Malati troupe from Visakhapantam presented Chakka Bhajana, Pandari bhajana and Kolatam.
