Ankurarpanam For Pushpayagam Performed

Tirumala, 27 October 2017: The Ankurarpanam ritual was performed on Friday evening in connection with annual Pushpayagam on Saturday.

The processional deity of Sri Vishwaksenulavaru was taken on a celestial ride along the four mada streets before the seed sowing festival is commenced.

Later the ritual of Beejavapanam was performed inside the Yagashala in Srivari temple amidst the chanting of vedic mantras.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Temple DyEO Sri Rama Rao, Peishkar Sri Ramesh, VGO Sri Raveendra Reddy and officials took part in this fete.
