DEEPAVALI ASTHANAM OBSERVED IN TIRUMALA TEMPLE

 Tirumala, 19 Oct. 17: The auspicious festival of Deepavali Asthanam was observed in Tirumala temple in a religious manner on Thursday.   After the traditional temple court to the processional deities of Sri Malayappa, Sridevi, Bhudevi and Viswaksenulavaru in Bangaru Vakili Harati was rendered and prasadam were distributed.   Speaking on this occasion, In-charge EO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju said, Deepavali is one of the important Hindu festivals which is celebrated in a big way with spiritual fervour. He wished that the devotees of Lord Venkateswara have a happy and prosperous Diwali.   Temple DyEO Sri Rama Rao, Parpathyedar Sri Ramachandra, Sri Gururaja Rao, Sri Seshadri, VGO Sri Raveendra Reddy and others took part.
