Tirumala, 24 October 2017: With an intention to upgrade the security cover to the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara, 250 high end CC cameras will be installed soon during the first phase, said Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa.
After the weekly review meeting at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala, the JEO speaking to media persons said, a team of experts from National Institute of Small Industries (NISI), Government of India have negotiated with the security officials of TTD. "Out of the 1400 CC cameras which are going to be installed soon in Tirumala, in the first phase 250 cameras will be set at vital points inside the Srivari temple by next month. The remaining will be taken up in the next phase", he added.
The JEO said, to enhance the efficiency of activity and service delivery system, TTD will adopt e-office in totto by March 31 next. "In the first phase we have introduced this system in major departments which includes Temple, Annaprasadam, Health, Procurement and Warehousing. In the next phase another five departments are in the pipeline to ease the office activity", he maintained.
Adding further the JEO said, to encourage employed and youth to participate in Srivari Seva, the 3-day and 4-day seva slots have been released on October 24 and they can participate in seva from November 2 onwards. For three-day seva, the service is from Friday to Sunday with education qualification of minimun Tenth standard and age between 25 years to 40 years while the four-day seva will be from Monday to Thursday with reporting on Sunday. The age limit for four-day seva is 18 years to 60 years.
CVSO Sri A Ravikrishna, FACAO Sri O Balaji, CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy and HoDs of all departments were also present in the review meeting.
