TTD Eo Releases Sri Ammavari Karthika Brahmotsavams Posters

 

Tiruchanoor, 27 October 2017: The posters of annual Karthika Brahmotsavams of Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple was released by TTD EO Sri AK Singhal on Saturday.

 

As the mega religious event is scheduled between November 18-23, the EO along with Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar and Temple Spl Gr DyEO Sri P Munirathnam Reddy released the posters in his chambers in TTD administrative building in Tirupati.

 

GODDESS RIDES ON GAJA VAHANAM

 

The processional deity of Goddess Padmavathi Devi took celestial ride on Gaja Vahanam along the four mada streets of the temple in Tiruchanoor on Friday evening.

 

Akin to Pournami Garuda Vahana seva every month in Tirumala, the Goddess takes ride on Gaja Vahana Seva every month on the auspicious advent of Uttarashada Nakshatra, which happens to be the birth star of Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi.

 

Devotees took part in large numbers to witness the procession of Goddess. Temple officials also took part in this celestial event.
