Koil Alwar Performed at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple

Tiruchanur, 7 November 2017: In connection with annual brahmotsavams at Tiruchanoor which are set to commence from November 15 onwards, the temple cleansing fete, Koil Alwar Tirmanjanam was performed in Sri Padmavathi Temple at Tiruchanoor on Tuesday.

This ritual took place between 6am and 9am where in Parimalam, an aromatic paste is smeared all along the walls, roofs etc. in the temple.

TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal speaking on this occasion said that this temple cleansing fete is performed four times in a year before annual brahmotsavams, Rathasapthami, Pavitrotsavams and Vasanthotsavams. He invited the devotees to take part in the mega festival from November 15-23.

Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, CVSO Sri A Ravikrishna, temple Spl.Gr.Dy.E.O Sri P Munirathnam Reddy also took part in this fete.
