Tirupati, 1 December 2017: The mass temple programme, Managudi commenced on a grand religious note in two Telugu states in around 300 temples on Friday.
On December 2 there will be Nagara Sankeerthana, Krithika Deepotsavam while on December 3 following Gurupuja will be observed following Datta Jayanti.
KRITTIKA DEEPOTSAVAM IN SRI KT
In the advent of Krithika Nakshatram on December, Krithika Deepotsavam will be observed in the famous Shiva temple at Sri Kapilateertham in Tirupati on December 2.
The Deepotsavam will be celebrated between 6pm and 6:30pm in the temple.
TTD TAKES OVER SHIVA TEMPLE
The temple management has taken over yet another age old Lord Shiva temple in Seshapuram at Chandragiri Mandalam on Friday.
Speaking on this occasion, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar said, under the instructions of Honourable CM of AP Sri N Chandra Babu Naidu and TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, TTD has taken over Sri Seshachala Lingeswara Swamy temple in Chandragiri as a part of its mission of reviving ancient temples.
"The civil and electrical works to develop this temple will be taken up very soon", he added.
DLO Sri Venkaramana Naidu, Sp.Gr.Dy.E.O.Sri Munirathnam Reddy, SE Electrical Sri Venkateswarulu, DyEO General Smt Gowtami were also present.
