Pujas Offered to Akkaiyagarlu

Tirumala, 1 December 2017: Special Karthika Masa pujas were offered to the seven folk goddess in the Akkayyagarlu Gudi located in the First Ghat Road on Friday under the aegis of Transport wing of TTD.

The Akkayyagalu are considered to be most powerful by the pedestrian as well the drivers since they are believed to guard the ghat roads and ensure accident free safe journey to pilgrims.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, GM Transport Sri Sesha Reddy, DI Sri Bhaskar Naidu also offered prayers in the temple.
