Tirupati, 17 January 2018: The annual Paruveta utsavam was performed with religious fervour in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple in Tirupati on Wednesday.
Every year this fete is being observed on the next day of Kanuma.
Lord Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi reached Paruveta Mandapam in Renigunta Road from the temple by 3:30pm and Asthanam was performed. The utsava murthies were brought back to the temple by 6pm.
Temple DyEO Smt Varalakshmi, Superintendent Sri Suresh, Temple inspector Sri Prasanth, archakas and devotees were also present.
ADHYAYANOTSAVAMS COMMENCES IN SRI GT
The adhyayanotsavams off to a great start in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple on Wednesday.
This annual fete will last for 24-days and conclude on February 9.
During these 24 days, Divya Prabandha Parayanam will be rendered in front of deities, Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi in Kalyanamandapam every day between 5:30pm and 6:30pm.
