Tirumala, 24 January 2018: Tens of thousands of devotees who converged to witness the Sapta vahana sevas of Lord Malayappa on the occasion of Radhasaptami poured in laurels on the arrangements made by TTD for the big fete on Wednesday.
TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju inspected the galleries and interacted with the pilgrims. They expressed their happiness over the arrangements.
Tirunavakkarusu from Vellore and Pungodai from Salem said that water, buttermilk, beverages and Annaprasadam are promptly distributed. "I entered the gallery by 3am today. The TTD is serving different varieties of delicacies in regular intervals. The toilets were frequently cleaned by the concerned staff", said Sri Tirunavakkarusu.
As per Sri.Bhaskar from Prakasam and Sri Prakash Rao from Visakhapatnam, the distribution of food and water have been planned in such a way this time that they reached even the fqrther and top most step in the gallery. The seva volunteers stood in the gangways and distributed the food and water satchets, Sri Rao observed.
SRIVARI SEVA SERVICES HAILED
Under the instructions of TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, in the personal supervision of Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa segregation of srivari seva volunteers as per the requirement of Annaprasadam, Health and Vigilance departments for distribution of food, water and queue line management.
About three lakhs buttermilk packets and six lakh water satchets were distributed in galleries. The sevakulu were placed in zig-zag position to distribute the buttermilk, water and food to all the devotees sitting in galleries.
Around 2300 sevakulu have been exclusively deployed for mada streets service.
