Singapore Minister Offers Prayers in Tirumala

Tirumala, 26 January 2018: Singapore Minister for Home Affairs, Sri K Shanmugam  offered prayers in the temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Friday morning.

On his arrival, the Singapore Minister was accorded a grand reception by the Minister for Municipal Administration for AP Sri P. Narayana and JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju and temple priests and escorted him to the sanctum sanctorum.

Inside the sanctum sanctorum, priests of Tirumala temple explained to the Hon’ble Minister about the significance of Lord and the jewels adorned to the presiding deity. The Minister of Singapore spent few minutes praying before the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara and later reached Ranganayakula Mandapam where he was accorded Vedasirvachanam by temple priests.

DyEOs Sri Rama Rao, Temple Peishkar Sri Ramesh, OSD Sri Laskhminarayana Yadav, Parpatheyadar Sri Ramachandra and others were present.
